Well, the smooth kind still has peanuts in it, its just more finely... grinded... or whatever.. I don't know how the make peanut butter, really. Haha.

Yeah, I kinda like the chunky peanut butter, but nobody else in my family does, so they never get it, so I'm okay with the normal kind.

Pffft chunky sucks. I prefer the just smooth kind cause it just tastes a lot better. Chunky sucks. (Or maybe i just want to contrast whatever matchstick says )

It clutters up, if you wanted to go back and look at a conversation taken place about music, and there isn't a single topic about music, where the hell would you start? Probably not the topic about peanut butter, that's for damn sure XD Not to mention, it undermines the OP's original intent of having a discussion about a certain topic, which we have to uphold. Imagine if you wanted to talk about Detroit, and suddenly you come back and you see a long string of debates about different kinds of computers, wouldn't you be mildly upset? And even if you wouldn't you should still be able to see my point XD

Yeah, especially if its something important that you want to discuss. In this case, I didn't really mind getting off topic, since it was completely stupid to begin with, lol. Nobody really expected us to write 3 pages about peanut butter (which we actually didn't. About 70% of this topic isn't actually about peanut butter.) Just talking about being off topic is off topic in itself.... I think that makes sense...
